Synopsis
Alfonso X was born in Toledo on 23rd November 1221 in the Place of Galiana. His ancertor Alfonso VI has conquered the Kingdom of Toledo from the Muslims in 1085. Toledo was one the cities that the wise King loved best, not least because i twas the centre of worship of the Moorish kingdoms in the final period of Arab-Andalusian culture.
