This recording presents an introductory selection from the 24 Cantigas contained in the Songbook of Santa Maria del Puerto. Some of these Cantigas have already been recorded and released by Musica Antigua as part of the Project to recod an anthology of the Codices of the Cantigas of Alonso X.
